Schedule: Mon: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Tue: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Wed–Thu: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24/hr
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Medical Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in Denison, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients, update medical records, and assist with front office administrative tasks.
Perform clinical duties including vital signs, injections, and phlebotomy.
Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring equipment and supplies are stocked and clean.
Educate patients regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care as directed by providers.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies, ensuring patient confidentiality.
Support efficient workflow by coordinating with nursing and administrative staff.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
Proficiency in phlebotomy within the past 12 months.
Strong knowledge of front and back office operations.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification preferred.
