Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Part - Time Accountant to join our team on a part-time contract basis in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. In this role, you will contribute to a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of daily financial processes. This position offers a collaborative onboarding experience and is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset. Responsibilities: - Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure financial records are up-to-date and error-free. - Handle minor year-end payroll tasks and assist with monthly financial reporting. - Enter and maintain data in ERP software, ensuring consistency and accuracy. - Conduct internal audits to verify compliance and identify discrepancies. - Provide minor support for administrative and back-office duties, including answering inbound calls. - Collaborate with team members to address financial inquiries and resolve issues. - Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to prepare reports and other documentation. - Maintain organized paper records and adhere to traditional bookkeeping practices. Requirements - Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate financial records. - Familiarity with any ERP software is highly preferred. - Strong knowledge of payroll processing and account reconciliation. - Ability to perform internal audits and generate financial reports. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Comfortable working in a non-profit environment with traditional accounting methods. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
