FTE Status: Full-Time 1.00 FTE (40 hours/week)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday with weekends and holidays rotation

Job Description:

Responsible for reviewing patient medications during transitions in care, medication therapy management, application of therapeutic interchanges, drug utilization review, efficient drug distribution processes, computerized provider order entry (CPOE) order review and verification, medication checking prior to dispensing, medication drug error prevention, staff development and training, and maintaining a safe work environment. Management of pharmacy quality metrics for at risk payer agreements.

Responsible for managing the operation of the retail pharmacy and is accountable for improving prescription numbers, pharmacy sales, profit and image through accurate filling of prescriptions and providing courteous and efficient service to our customers.

Qualifications:

Wisconsin Pharmacist license required.

Acute care/hospital experience preferred.
