Job Description

Salary: $95,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Candidates must be legally permitted to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, both now and in the future.
• An active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Ability to work onsite in Chantilly, VA, 5 days a week.
• At least 5 years of experience in Python.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing data science methodologies using common programming or scripting languages.

Responsibilities:

• As a Data Scientist, I will support spatiotemporal research and applied data science initiatives focused on high-priority client missions. My responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Designing, developing, and utilizing advanced AI and machine learning techniques to tackle complex challenges.
• Serving as an AI thought leader, which involves creating whitepapers, presentations, executive briefings, reports, and other materials that support AI solutions and services.
• Guiding federal clients with a high degree of autonomy in the areas of AI strategy and development, which includes understanding agency needs, conducting exploratory data analysis, building and validating models, and deploying those models in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Acting as a subject matter expert to GPS clients and the global AI partner ecosystem.
• Iterating on and/or developing repeatable, reusable processes and scalable data systems to address technical and deployment challenges.
• Upholding and maintaining data science best practices regarding new methodologies, technologies, industry trends, and open-source packages.
• Collaborating across various functions with other scientists, data engineers, federal account managers, and leadership to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
