Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our CPA firm. The ideal candidate will have solid income tax preparation experience and a strong attention to detail, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality work products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state income tax returns for:

  • Individuals

  • Partnerships

  • Corporations

  • Trusts

• Prepare and maintain supporting work papers for income tax returns

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and overall quality of tax filings

• Work efficiently within firm standards and deadlines

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting

• CPA candidate preferred but not required

• Minimum of 2 5 years of income tax preparation experience with a CPA firm

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Software Experience

• Lacerte Tax Software

• QuickBooks

• Sage 50 Accounting (Peachtree)

• Microsoft Excel
