Job Title: Technical Communications Intern

Reports to: Technical Communications Manager
GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
Work in the technical communications group supporting the creation of technical documentation for custom railroad maintenance equipment. Tasks include creating operator manuals, maintenance instructions, lockout / tagout manuals, and other technical communication materials.
Education: Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Achieved junior status or higher. The individual shall also have completed the "core" coursework for his/her chosen discipline. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
