Job Description

XL Delivery Drivers operate DOT-regulated vehicles and work alongside a Driver Helper to deliver packages up to 300 lbs. We are looking for dedicated individuals who value safety, are committed to exceptional customer service, and can manage the physical demands of handling large items while adhering to delivery schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a 16-26' DOT-regulated delivery vehicle following a pre-planned route to ensure all deliveries are made on time in accordance with prescibed delivery standards.
• Work in cooperation with a Driver Helper to load, unload, and deliver packages up to 300 lbs using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the dispatch team, report any incidents or delays, and adjust routes as necessary.
• Follow all operating procedures and standards of squality and safety as dictated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and company policies.
• Carry out vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure that the delivery vehicle is in good working condition.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service by handling all customer interactions with professionalism, resolving issues proactively, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle

Qualifications

• Missouri residents class E license
• Illinois residents class C license
• DOT Medical Card
• Previous box truck experience
• Familiarity with commercial driving and DOT regulations and procedures
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and provide exceptional service
• Navigation Skills: Familiarity with GPS and navigation apps to efficiently navigate routes.
• Smartphone Savvy: Utilize our delivery app & our phones to receive instructions, update delivery statuses, and communicate with customers.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading of product.
• Ability to lift up to 300lbs with assistance of driver helper.

Additional Information

Pay: Starting from $22.00 per hour
